Love to know where that Tri was Marty. I am a native Floridian, but from the panhandle. Anyway a quick search yeilded the following:
Q: How fast can an alligator run on land?
A: I was told in the past by an Everglades National Park ranger that an alligator can run as fast as 35 miles per hour, but not for a long time.
