It turns out the matriarch of the family wasn't comfortable with us strangers in the house. She hadn't been forewarned we were coming. Of course, what Gramma wants, Gramma gets.

I'm a big fan of outdoor sports and work as a triathlon and swim coach in Cary, North Carolina. I celebrate life with my wife Bri and my dog Tassie. We visit the beach or mountains when time and circumstance permit.

just read about your weekend and had to look twice - I thought it was tassie's blog or something. All I can say is WTF?
I've never met either of you but you are welcome anytime you want to visit Lafayette Louisiana - for the whole weekend - and there will be beer as well.
